Waste (HHW) Collection
Saturday, June 7, 2008 from 9 am to 2 pm
at the Blair County Highway Garage located at 620 Loop Road, Hollidaysburg
(near the former Hollidaysburg Car Shops)
COST - $10 per car trunkload
This event is open to Blair County residents only.
Have a photo ID ready (i.e. a driver’s license) when you arrive at the gate.

NO OTHER ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT.

Directions:
From Altoona and points north, Take Route 36 South to the intersection of Routes 36 and 22 in Hollidaysburg. Continue straight, go over the bridge, then take the first exit (to the right). Turn right onto Loop Road at the yield sign. Proceed about 1/8 of a mile. (You will drive underneath the bridge you were just on.) The Blair County Highway Garage is located on the right. Please use the first gate to enter and remain in your vehicle at all times while at the drop-off location. An attendant will remove all acceptable items from your car.
From Martinsburg and points south,Take Route 36 North to Hollidaysburg. After passing the intersection of Catfish Ridge Road and Chimney Rocks Road, bear to the right and take the Loop Road exit. At the end of the exit make a left turn. The Blair County Highway Garage is located ahead on the left. Please enter at the third gate and remain in your vehicle at all times while at the drop-off location. An attendant will remove all acceptable items from your car.
